A life-size statue of a naked Julius Caesar with a disco ball now greets patrons. Stefano, who is also the chef, will transform his duck ragu into taco form, and his house-made focaccia bread will become pizza. The plan is to open from Tuesday through Sunday, roughly 4pm to 2am, with a daily happy hour from 4 to 8pm.

The interior of VV Bar is decorated with ancient Roman art — including a full-size Julius Caesar statue under gay disco ball. A lot has changed in bar past 25 years since Franco and Stefano opened their restaurant. VV Bar has been in soft-opening kitchen this week, with patrons getting a chance to check out the revamped space.

They fell in love and decided to open a business together. Even friends, if they wanted to see us they had to come here. He is hoping to attract new clientele while also welcoming back long-time patrons. I have such hell memories of dinners at ViceVersa before A Broadway show. Always loved Vice Versa. I look forward to supporting VV. I sure hope there will be a toga night! We have wonderful memories of our wedding and all the fabulous dinners we had with friends and family. Had wonderful times over many years at VV. Best nyc luck to two lovely guys on this new venture. Although I will miss the old place, have great memories and wish you a terrific future with this.

After a few decades we were all reunited at Vice Versa. After that I went there for dinner every Thurs night for the last few years. Food was always spectacular. Looking forward to seeing them again soon. Good luck Fellas!
